Michaela Weisskirchner-Barfod has created an amazing blanket where she combines 3 functions in one. A sleeping bag, a blanket and a bird. She has not only created a multifunctional baby blanket she has also introduced origami in a new way - because the blanket can be folded in various ways and even end up as a swan. The colors are subtle in a beautiful mix and will look great in the living room or children's room. Unfortunately all my kids are to big for this blanket, but I would love to give it as a gift to someone dear.

Journeys to write about, to keep as a memory, or just to keep track of it. For that I would love to use this book by Sharilyn Wright. Every book is handmade and every page hold its own story, some comes from recycle bins, some from China, even from Copenhagen. Just love her work and the idea, found her shop again, going down memory lane in all my bookmarks. Happy weekend.
I think I will start this new year "with great care" or as we say in Denmark OMHU. My friend in New York has designed these amazing canes because she cares for other people. At OMHU they strive to make well-designed products that help people who need help with simple tasks such as walking, bathing, or reaching overhead. Quote from the site:"By creating more exciting choices of things that help, we hope we can also help change the way people feel about aging and ability. Because everyone’s getting older – even you!"
