Just love this way to eat your morning egg - and what a cute idea to make a little castle for the egg and a horse for the "soldier" If you already eat your eggs like this or just love the egg cup and horse - you can purchase it here.
Back in June I went to the opening of the Bjørn Wiinblad exhibition at Arken. It is an amazing exhibition, full of color and a walk through Bjørn Wiinblad many expression in art, all together with his private art collection. Big table settings, (pict 7) displaying his incredible passion for table decoration and throwing parties for friends, with table settings worthy royals. He was so passionate about entertaining his guest that he made personalized table cards in china, that the guest could bring home. He made amazing wall carpets(pic 4), whit so many details. Posters (pict 5), and so much more. Definitely worth a visit, and if you are not around - take a closer look at this colourful man. Arken

Some time ago I received a book about architecture. Build, draw and learn - a book where you explore the great ways of architecture for you and together with your family. A great book for those of us that would like to know more about architecture or would like to be a architect, this is a great book to start with.
The book takes you though existing architectural masterpieces and architects work. You are introduced to a wide scale of product that architects uses in their every day modeling and you are challenged to make your own architectural exercises.
Every year so many wreath are made to welcome your guest at the door steps. Wreath take so many forms, colors and designs. These wreath are made about 7 years ago, still looking good - if made today the styling might have been different and the wreath less symetrik.

A whole lot of years back Sofie (the photographer) and I had the opportunity to style and inspire parents to make playful ice cream decoration for birthdays or friday "candy" for a danish kids magazine. A timeless idea, where you need ice cream of various flavours and one or more of the following ingredients: sprinkles, candy, desiccated coconut with colour, ice cream cones and fruits. When I arrived at Formland this summer – I had a pleasant surprise when I entered the hall where the essence of Hay talent award was situated. 33 talented designers were displaying their design, in a different and very inspiring way. Each design had its own house. The house had two sections, one where the design was displayed, and in the other end a sleeping and work area. Each plywood house came with a bed, desk, duvet covers, lamp, chair, hanger and a shelf (all HAY design) How the designer and in some case designers, wanted to display and style their house was up to them. The result was apart of amazing new designs, also a great way of styling a small home and small workspaces. During the 4 days long fair the designers lived at the fair in “their houses”.
1. example of the house, 2-3. Charlotte Kristine Kristiansen, 4. great desk space, 5. Stine Keinicke Jensen, 6-7. Studio Fem, 8-10. Renaud Defransesco & Cyrill Verdon 11-15. One of the winners: Hannah Waldron, for her woven tapestry: Hand in Cloud 16. the other winner: Joel Hoff, for his industrial Switch Light.
Sweet retro furniture for playing. Kitchen, washing machine, shelves and desk all designed and made by Macarena Bilbao. Inspired by the 1950s look and feel she started out with a kitchen for her kids - and from there it has grown into a shop. Take a closer look at the shop.
Boidem is a furniture for mess and a pretty one. When I saw it in Frankfurt in the beginning of the year I must admit that I fell in love with the idea. I guess it is not a new idea to raise a basket or similar up to the ceiling, but with simple and aesthetic design it is easy to use it in a modern home with kids. Great design from the cotten rope to the wooden knob where you attach the rope.
